Were Mistakes Made?

Were Mistakes Made? is a poster examining the form of computer error messages, inspired by the image of a blank dialog box. The title takes the political trope “Mistakes were made” chronically used to deflect personal responsibility in times of error, and questions if an “error” truly is a “mistake”. Perhaps errors could also be viewed as moments for realization or invention.
