A visual identity for the Ninth Annual Film Festival at Occidental College, a student-run event that took place in early March 2012. The logo blended an image of an oil lamp from Occidental’s college seal, the universal symbol of the search for greater knowledge, with a film strip represented by an abstract arrangement of superelliptical squares.
Collateral developed for the identity included a series of posters, the festival program and screen title cards for the event itself.
